- Standard: £99/month + £199 one-time setup (1–10 waiters). Professional: £149/month + £299 setup (11–25 waiters, priority support). Enterprise: custom pricing for chains and 26+ waiters (SLA, dedicated account manager, custom reporting). Setup is white-glove: we connect your POS and configure everything. Pay annually and save 2 months—plus we waive the setup fee. Many customers cover the cost in a single busy weekend with one or two extra table turns. No hidden fees. - Is there a free trial?
- Yes. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If RestaurantIQ doesn’t deliver value in your first month, we refund you in full—no questions asked. Beta partners also receive extended free access.
Data Security
- How do you protect our data?
- Your data is stored in enterprise-grade infrastructure (Supabase/PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest and in transit. OAuth tokens are encrypted. Row-level security ensures your restaurant’s data is isolated from all other tenants. We are GDPR compliant and do not sell or share your data.
- Where is our data stored?
- Data is stored in UK/EU data centres where applicable. We use industry-standard security practices and comply with GDPR for UK and European customers.

- How do integrations work?
- You connect your POS and booking systems via secure OAuth or API key. RestaurantIQ syncs orders, payments, and reservations automatically. We support Square, Toast, TouchBistro, and Epos Now—live today—plus booking platforms like SevenRooms, OpenTable, and Quandoo. Lightspeed is coming soon. One dashboard for all your systems.

- How long does setup take?
- For Square, Toast, TouchBistro, or Epos Now: about 30 minutes—connect, sync, and you’re live. We guide you through each step. No IT team required.
- Do we need technical expertise?
- No. Setup is designed for restaurant operators. You’ll connect your POS via a secure link, authorise access, and we handle the rest. Support is available if you get stuck.

- What support do you offer?
- Email support with a 24-hour response target. Beta and Enterprise customers get priority support. We provide setup guides, troubleshooting docs, and onboarding assistance. No chatbots—real people.
Data Ownership
- Who owns our data?
- You do. Your orders, revenue, timing, and performance data belong to your restaurant. You can export everything to CSV at any time. If you cancel, we’ll provide a full data export. We never claim ownership of your data.
- Can we export our data?
- Yes. One-click CSV exports for revenue, waiter performance, timing analysis, and section reports. No lock-in. Export whenever you need it.
Cancellation
- What is your cancellation policy?
- Cancel anytime. No long-term contracts. We’ll provide a full data export before your access ends. Refunds follow our 30-day money-back guarantee for new customers. No cancellation fees.
AI
- How does the AI insights engine work?
- Our engine analyses your POS data using rule-based algorithms—no external AI models or third-party APIs. It identifies patterns in service timing (first drink and first food pacing, table turns), waiter performance, section optimisation, and upselling opportunities. Insights are generated from your data only, with confidence scores so you see which recommendations are most reliable. Your data never leaves our system for AI processing.
- Is our data used to train AI?
- No. We do not use your data to train external AI models. Insights are computed from your data, for your restaurant only. We do not sell, share, or repurpose your data.
